Graham is very excited to announce that he is one of ten Canadian regional finalists in the 2009 Mountain Stage New Song Contest.
Mountain Stage is a live music showcase that takes place in Charleston, West Virginia and which is broadcast on NPR (National Public Radio) and on PBS television. Past guests of the show include Sheryl Crow, Steve Earle, Indigo Girls, Arlo Guthrie and Ryan Adams to name but a few.
Every year, Mountain Stage hosts a song contest…and this year Graham is in the running to represent Canada onstage in West Virginia in October. Judges will ultimately choose the finalists from each regional round, BUT this year there is also a ‘People’s Choice’ category in which Youtube postings can be voted on by the public!

Graham performing at the Gap in Ottawa

August 05th, 2009 | Category: Past Shows

gap_logo.jpg

On Thursday, August 20, every Gap retail store in the United States and Canada will host an exclusive acoustic concert in a series called Born to Play to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. This will be THE largest, simultaneous acoustic concert EVER.

For chosen performers, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure and possibly win the chance to work with producer John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, Ben Folds Five, John Mayer, O.A.R.), as well as a free Gap wardrobe.

Graham has been chosen from thousands of applying acts to perform in the St. Laurent Shopping Centre Gap location in Ottawa!!!

Thursday, August 20th

7:00-9:00pm

Believe it or not, the original Gap store sold both records and clothes forty years ago in San Francisco (a bastion of both jeans and music in the 1960s), beginning a deep-rooted tradition of Gap support for music.
